SparkCharge, a pioneer in mobile electric vehicle (EV) charging, initially developed its predecessor app as a simple MVP. Faced with significant delivery issues from their contracted development agency and limitations with the existing app’s backend functionality, SparkCharge needed a new approach to enhance their offering.

  2. Smartcar API Integration: Users can now connect their EVs to the app, allowing technicians to access vehicle information and charge them remotely. This makes the charging process more convenient for users.
  3. GPS Tracking and Geofencing: Users can track the location of technicians in real-time, similar to popular delivery apps. Geofencing ensures that charge requests are only made within specific service areas, preventing mistakes.
  4. Expanded Sign-In Options: To make it easier for users to get started, SparkCharge Mobile includes additional sign-up and sign-in options, such as Google and Apple.
