Frequently Asked Questions

Who are FlutterFlow agencies?

FlutterFlow agencies have been verified by FlutterFlow as agencies having the technical skills to build with FlutterFlow. Agencies go through an application and review process with FlutterFlow before being listed here. When hiring an Agency, customers are recommended to do their own due diligence with Agencies around other aspects of client work like on-time delivery, IP rights etc. If needed, we suggest getting a contract in place with the Expert to ensure all your project goals are met.

What does the “Expert” badge mean?

All freelancers and agencies listed in our portal go through a review process in which their portfolio of work  is reviewed. Those with an Expert badge engage in an additional level of education, passing FlutterFlow's thorough in-house training program.

How can I find the right FlutterFlow Agency or Freelancer for my project?

There are two ways to find the right Agency or Freelancer for your project:

  1. Browse & filter by your selection criteria like Budget, location, language, services etc
  2. Get matched: Create a project proposal and get a curated selection of Experts who are the best fit for your project and preferences. Matchmaking walks you through a step-by-step flow to explain your project needs and criteria so that FlutterFlow can help you find the right partner.

Filling out the Project Proposal only takes a few minutes and allows you to send requests to multiple Experts at once instead of sending individual requests. While some questions are optional, we recommend including key project details and providing as much context as possible so you can be matched with an ideal partner. Don’t worry about being 100% certain about everything — you can always adjust project requests, timeline requirements, and budget once you’ve connected with Experts. Be honest about your budget restrictions, but try not to limit yourself to only the lowest budget option at the matchmaking stage, as it will limit the number of eligible Experts.

After you submit your matchmaking request, you’ll receive a list of recommended Agencies & freelancers for your project, with a score for how closely they match your requirements. You can review each match and decide which Expert to reach out to. Once they receive your request, Experts review your project details and will respond to accept or decline your request.

Once an Agency or Freelancer accepts your request, you’ll receive an email connecting you to them so you can start working together.

How do I price my proposal?

App development projects vary from a few thousand to tens of thousands of dollars for more complex app builds. Pricing depends on the app complexity and the scope of the project.

Projects with scope requiring full design and app build will cost more than those with partial app builds.

App complexity is dependent on the number of use-cases you want to implement in your app, which informs how many screens and API calls etc. your app will need. A use-case is a typical user journey (ex. Customer login, Place order, View Order etc). A typical use case takes 2-3 screens and multiple APIs to implement.

When creating a project proposal, be honest about your budget restrictions, but try not to limit yourself to only the lowest budget option at the matchmaking stage, as it will limit the number of eligible Agencies.

If you are not sure how much your App should cost to build, it is helpful to leave a note in your project proposal letting the Agency know that. The Agencies will have a detailed discovery call with you to understand your project requirements to come up with  estimated pricing.
